Council Information
The St. Matthew Council is located at Saint Matthew Catholic Church in Winder 25 Wilkins Road S.W. Winder. The Grand Knight for 2008-2009 is Paul A. Meetings - The Rosary will be said from 7:00 - 7:30 before the business meeting for all who wish to participate.
1st Thursday - Business Meeting - 7:30 PM in the Hedges Hall
3rd Thursday - Social Meeting - 7:30 PM in the Hedges Hall
About the Council
Saint Matthew Council was founded in 2002 through the efforts of a small group of Catholic men in Barrow and Gwinnett counties. It is named after Saint Matthew, a Jewish tax collector (or "publican") who later became one of Jesus' apostles. The Saint Matthew Council works closely with the Saint Matthew Catholic Church in Winder, GA, providing funds for various projects, members being active participants in their parish and community. |
